Grain Flow forging process

Mizuno MP-20 SEL irons are crafted using grain flow forging from a single billet of 1025E mild carbon steel, which is then plated using Nickel Chrome and soft copper. The grain flow technology increases grain density required to offer the ultimate solid, consistent and soft feel. The 1025E Pure Select steel has six times more tolerance than the standard materials in the industry.
