Callaway has used 1025 mild carbon steel for forging, in order to produce the amazing sound and feel of the Apex Pro. With proprietary urethane microspheres infused into the forged iron, unwanted vibration is absorbed effectively while there is no compromise on speed.
Consistent distance and playability
-Apex Pro is the ideal tour-performance iron thanks to the revolutionary 360 Face Cup design. The Face Cup features a flexible, shallow rim along the perimeter that flexes and releases on impact to generate fast ball speed and consistent distance on both off-center and center hits. Short irons feature VFT Face design that optimizes pinpoint shot-making.
Optimum control and ball flight
The multi-material composition has resulted in 50-gram Tungsten infusion into each iron, which enables extraordinary precision of CG positioning in each iron while the Face Cup flexibility is maintained.
